there is nothing i love more than this holiday. family gatherings, delicious food, eating until i'm going to pop and then stuffing in just a bit more. what is there not to love?!
this year i especially have a lot to be grateful for.
my husband who works tirelessly in school and work to ensure that we will have a successful future. it's a lot to shoulder and he does it entirely on his own.
parents who truly are the greatest 2 humans on this earth. they do everything imaginable for us and then some. we are all eternally indebted to them. and on top of that, they are COOL. we would all choose to hang out with them over anyone else any day. not many people can say that.
siblings (including in-laws!) who, quite frankly, i'm obsessed with. they're my best friends. life wouldn't be the same without anyone of them.
friends who keep my life fun and exciting! i have the greatest group of friends that date back to high school. pretty lucky.
my pup who is literally glued to my hip. i'm basically in love with him in every way.
my membership in the LDS church. often times i wonder why i was one of the lucky ones to be born into the church. to always have the goodness of the gospel in my life. i cherish it above all else.
i'm thankful for the life i've been so blessed to live. the places i've traveled, the delicious food i'm constantly fed, the warm home i get to go home to, a job that i actually love, and so much more.
and lastly, the BABE that is growing in my belly. tears immediately spring to my eyes as i think of the little spirit that is waiting to join our family. i've wanted this for so long and i couldn't be more grateful that our time has finally come.

Like everyone else... I CAN'T WAIT to see you as a mom. It's almost just not fair how natural you seem to be at it. We're so thrilled about this, and can't wait to see you with a darling belly, find out if it's a boy or girl, throw you a shower, see who they look like & what name you choose... it's ALL just fun! And I love that in a little over 1 year 5 grandkids will be born. They are going to have a BLAST growing up together!!
