my life is complete. last night tyler and i added to our family the most perfect little creature in the world (despite the fact that he kept us up all night crying. poor guy!) welcome to the powers family, Yuri.
the only way we could get him to sleep last night. we have a snuggler people.
after a sleepless night (for all 3 of us, that's why you only see him in this picture. he's the only one that looked presentable.)
i'm already embarrassed by how many pictures i took of him last night. don't worry, i'll try not post about him as if he is my child. but just in case i do.......i apologize ahead of time.

AHHHHHHHHH! i have been waiting for this all morning. that picture of him drinking his water made me laugh out loud. he is so freakin cute. i LOVE the name too. it sounds asian, no? love that you have an asian wiener dog! fabulous decision. can't wait to meet him.

Yuri, your new cousins London and Camden love you so much. Last night on the way home London said, "I already miss him mom" and "one day he can come sleep in my bed". She announced to everyone she saw today about her friends Druby and Tyler who bought a new puppy. You made her day!

What?!?! I didn't know you were THAT serious on Sunday about getting a pup! How fun!! (well, for you- you know how i feel about dogs:)... BUT, he is very cute and he gets points for being small, a big plus in my book:) Where did the name come from? Sunday dinner at the Horsley home is going to be overtaken with dogs!!
Wow!!!! I missed the Sunday discussion so this is total news to me. Yeah!!! He's completely adorable. I can't wait to meet him!! I just hope Auggie doesn't eat him. And Yuri- are you kidding me? That is the cutest name. Where did you come up with it?

I was going to make some juvenile comment about how excited I am for you to have a new wiener in your life... but then remembered that I'm turning 30 this year... and that you're my sister... and somehow the whole joke seemed less funny, more pathetic, and borderline creepy. Anyway I think its great. As "unmanly" as it sounds I prefer small dogs. Maybe someday I will be able to talk Chels into getting one. Or maybe not.
I am so happy for you guys. He is sooo cute! A time of changes in the Powers home. A new dog and bangs. I love it and I love you! (Even though you are a slut!) I can't wait to see Yuri!
